Motorcycle Accident Sends Two to the Hospital

South Carolina Highway Patrol was called to the scene of a motorcycle accident Monday afternoon. The accident occured around 4:30 p.m. on Highway 17 Bypass in Murrells Inlet. The accident happened when a car traveling north on 17 Bypass made a left turn in front of the motorcycle which was traveling south. The two people on the motorcycle were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The driver of the car has been charged with failure to yield the right of way, according the Lance Cpl. Sonny Collins.
