Motorcycle Accident Leaves One Man Dead

A motorcycle accident claimed the life a young man Sunday morning. 22 year-old Jacob Miller was the victim of an accident at the corner of Highway 17 Bypass and Wachesaw Road around 1:30 A.M. Sunday. A Ford Expedition was traveling north on 17 Bypass and attempted to make a left turn onto Wachesaw Road. The driver failed to yield the right of way to the motorcyclist traveling south. Miller died at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center from injuries sustained in the accident.

After the South Carolina Highway Patrol completes the investigation, the charges, if any, against the driver will be released.
