Motorcycle Accidend Kills 1 in Horry County

An active duty marine is dead after a motorcycle accident on Airport Road Sunday afternoon. The South Carolina Highway Patrol says that the accident happend near Loris Airport around 12:45 pm when a 2005 Suzuki motorcycle ran off the side of the road and hit a tree. The driver was 29-year old Jeffrey Bennett. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

The accident remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
