Moped Driver Killed in Accident in Lexington County

The driver of a moped who died after a collison with a car on Tuesday night has now been identified. Maurice Robinson, 21, was riding a moped on South Lake Drive around 8:10 P.M. when he was hit from behind by an Acura sedan. Robinson died at the scene. No one else was injured in the accident.

No charges have been filed, however the accident is still under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
