Man Killed After Pickup Truck Accident

The Berkely County Coroner identified a man that was killed after driving his truck into the woods in Bonneau. He was identified as 48-year-old James Seay. He died from head trauma sustained in the accident.
Authorities say that the accident happened around 3 am Wednesday on Harristown Road just off of Highway 17A. Seay lost control of the truck and drove into the woods and hit several trees. A passenger in the truck was thrown from the vehicle and was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Neither Seay nor the passenger were wearing seat belts. The highway patrol says they are still in the process of investigating the accident.
