Man Injured In 40-Story Fall

   A man who fell 40 stories from the roof of a New York City apartment building is in critical condition today with two broken legs.

   Thomas Magill, 22, jumped from the building Tuesday at W. 63rd St. in New York City and crashed through the windshield of a parked Dodge Charger, landing in the back seat.

   Another New Yorker, window washer Alcides Moreno, also fell from the top of a high rise and survived in December 2007. Moreno tumbled 47 floors but is expected to walk again.

   An investigation as to why Magill jumped is ongoing.
