Man Injured After Motorcycle Accident Near Charleston SC

The South Carolina Highwa Patrol says they are investigating an accident involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck on Wadmalaw Island. The accident happened Wednesday evening at 7:44 pm. Troopers say that a 2009 Ford pickup truck was driving on Bears Bluff Road and was turning into a church parking lot when a 1998 Honda motorcycle crashed into the truck. The driver of the truck was not injured and was wearing a seatbelt. The driver of the motorcycle was wearing a helmet and was taken to MUSC in serious condition after the accident.
The police are still investigating the accident and no charges have been filed yet in the case.
