A man was killed Saturday afternoon in an auto accident on I-95 in Clarendon County. The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the accident occured at 2:15 p.m. near mile marker 114. A 2002 Dodge driven by Mary West went off of the road, came back on, and then overturned several times. The passenger in the car, Bobby West, was killed. Troopers say he was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash, but was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, Mary West, was taken by helicopter to Palmetto Health Richland with non-life threatening injuries.
