Man Charged After High Speed Chase and Crash in Coward

A high speed chase through Coward ended in a crash Friday afternoon. Rodney McCray is charged with reckless driving and failure to stop for blue lights after he was pursued through Coward at speeds in excess of 120 mph on US 52. It was reported that he was weaving in and out of traffic through Kingstree. The chase ended at CW Robinson Road and US 52 when he crashed his car.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol worked the accident scene and will continue to investigate the incident.
