Highway 707 Auto Accident Closes Southbound Lanes

The South Carolina Highway Patrol says that an accident occured around 9:15 a.m. Tuesday morning at the intersection of Highway 707 and Big Block Road. A white SUV went off the road and into a ditch. However, more details about how the accident happened were unavailable.

The southbound lanes of Highway 707 were closed while emergency workers cleared the accident. The accident remains under investigation by the highway patrol.
