The Dillon County Coroner confirms that a Dillon High School football player was killed early Wednesday morning in a car accident on Highway 57 South.  James Wright David, Jr. ran off the road and over corrected and lost control of his car.  He died from injuries sustained in the accident.  A passenger in the car, Tykel Madison was taken to the hospital but is ok.  

The police are still investigating the accident.
