Fatal Car Crash on Highway 9

The South Carolina Highway Patrol says a fatal car accident happend on Highway 9 north of Loris around 6:30pm Tuesday evening. 60-year-old Agro Crawford died in the accident. He was driving a Toyota Corolla when he struck a 2008 Mercury that was making a left turn into a private driveway. The driver of the Mercury was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belts and police are still investigating the accident to determine whether or not charges will be filed.
