Family of man run over on beach sues city of Myrtle Beach

The family of a man who was run over by a beach services truck while napping on the beach has sued the city of Myrtle Beach and others.

Erik Rabon's brother has filed a suit against the city, Huggins Beach Service, the company who owned the pick-up truck that ran over Rabon and the driver of the pick-up truck, claiming that the parties were negligent. Rabon suffered back and other injuries when he was runover in May. He is still under medical care at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.

The police charged the driver with careless operation following the incident.
