DUI Crash Kills 2

A single vehicle crash killed two passengers in Berkeley County in the early morning hours of April 2, 2011. The accident occured around 5:00 A.M. on Old Highway Number 6. The car, driven by 24-year-old Anthony Richardson, was traveling east on the highway and was under the influence when he crashed into a tree off the side of the road near Roscoe Court. The other two passengers in the car, 18-year-old Devontee Richardson and 20-year-old Zakariah Gourdine, both died of bodily injuries in the crash. Both passengers were wearing a seatbelt.

Anthony Richardson is being charged with felony DUI and the highway patrol says it is still investigating the accident.
