Domestic Call Ends in Car Accident

The Darlington County deputies responded to a domestic situation Saturday night and the situation escaled into a car chase and subsequent car accident. The 911 call said that a man was fighting with his wife and threatening to shoot her. When officers got to the scene, Terry Dubose, 35, got in his truck and left.
Authorties tried to stop Dubose and he began a chase. He lost control of the vehicle and crashed at the intersection of Broad and S. Main Street in Darlington. He was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries, and will be charged with criminal domestic violence, failure to stop for blue lights, and DUI.
The crash is still under investigation by the highway patrol.
