Car Strikes Five Others

A single-car crash Tuesday afternoon in Myrtle Beach sent two people to the hospital.
A Cadillac travelling south on Kings Hwy. near 50th Avenue North jumped the curb and struck a mailbox across the sidewalk, as well as five parked cars and a telephone pole, according to Myrtle Beach Police Capt. David Knipes. The incident occurred at the Rainbow Harbor shopping center.
Both driver and passenger were taken to the hospital, but neither were seriously injured. According to the passenger, the driver blacked out just before the crash. No charges have been filed.
