Two people were injured after a car sped through a red light and crashed into another vehicle in North Charleston Tuesday night.  The North Charleston Police Department says around 8 pm an officer attempted a traffic stop on Ranger Drive and Dorchester Road.  The driver did not stop and sped off down Dorchester Road and then ran a red light and crashed into another car.  Both drivers were transported to MUSC to be treated for injuries.  The accident is still being investigated by the SC Highway Patrol.
