Car Crashes Into North Myrtle Beach Store

A 70-year-old man crashed his pickup truck into the North Myrtle Beach Sherwin Williams store on Highway 17 near 9th Avenue North on March 10, 2017.

According to the North Myrtle Beach spokeswoman, the man was driving South on Highway 17 when he crossed the median, knocked down a light pole, went in and out of a ditch, and then into the side of the building.

None of the store employees were in the building at the time of the crash.

Horry County Fire Rescue arrived to remove the man from the vehicle using hydarulic tools, and he was taken to the ER for medical treatment.

Thankfully in this incident, no other person was injured. Accidents happen quickly and can change someone's life in a moment.
