Car Crashes Into Food Lion Grocery Store in Goose Creek

A car crashed into the front of the Food Lion grocery store in Goose Creek on Thursday around 12:25 P.M. According to officials with the South Carolina Highway Patrol an elderly woman driving a white Ford Taurus lost control of the car and crashed through the front of the store on Red Bank Road. The driver was taken to a local hospital along with at least one other person who was inside the store at the time of the accident.

The accident was being investigated by the S.C. Highway Patrol.
