Auto Accident on I-26 Ejects 1 Passenger

A single car accident on I-26 in Summerville early Monday morning ejected at least 1 of the passengers in the car. The accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-26 near mile marker 198 around 5:45 a.m. A Toyota Sequoia with 6 people inside overturned several times and ejected one of the passengers. All 6 people in the car were transported to the hospital for treatment.

Officers with the highway patrol will continue to investigate what caused the accident.
