An Accident Caused Injuries on Piney Heights Road

On Friday, March 18, 2011 a two-car accident tied up traffic at the intersection of Piney Heights road and Edgar Street in Aiken county.

Troopers were called to the scene of a head-on collision at 7:35 A.M.  Observers in the area said traffic was tied up and then redirected around the crash site.  

One of the cars involved was a Jeep driven by a high school student on her way to school.  She was not injured in the collision.
