71-Year-Old Man Dies After Car Accident

Greenville County Coroner's office has confirmed that 71-year-old Carlton Fuller has died after a car accident on Batesville Road on April 4, 2011. Authorities say that the accident happend around 7:30 A.M. Fuller was driving southbound on Batesville Road when he crossed the center line and hit another vehicle heading northbound.

Fuller was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital where he later died from injuries sustained in the accident. The driver of the other vehicle, Gaye Wihovich, was also taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital.

The accident is under investigation.
