5 Motorcycle Accidents Last Week Cause Traffic Delays

Five motorcycle accidents on Friday in the Grand Strand caused traffic headaches. One accident occured around 7:15 pm on Farrow Parkeway when the driver of the motorcycle was heading towards the Market Common when the driver hit another motorcycle and crashed. Injuries were minor for all parties invovled. Another accident happened in one of the southbound lanes of U.S. 17 around 3:30 pm when a motorcycle crashed just south of Highway 22. Around the same time another accident happened on 76th Avenue North. There were no injuries in that accident. At 4:30 pm police responded to another accident that stalled traffic on U.S. 17 north of Glenns Bay Road. Last, at 4:55 pm there was a crash between a motorcycle and a car near Lakewood Drive. All of these accidents occured during the Harley Davidson Bike rally.
