4 Dead After Car Hits Building and Catches Fire

Columbia police have stated that four people died after the car they were in crashed into a building and caught fire. The accident happened around 5:00 am at 960 George Rogers Blvd. The car crashed at a high rate of speed into the Farm Bureau Insurance building. The car then burst into flames and no one was able to escape. George Rogers Blvd. near the state fair grounds was closed for several hours while emergency crews worked the scene.
The investigation and indentification process continue by authorities.
