3-Car Accident Kills 1 and Injures 1

The South Carolina Highway Patrol has said that one person is dead after a 3-car accident Wednesday afternoon in North Charleston. Authorities stated that a 60-year-old man died after the accident on Ashley Phosphate Road when he pulled out of a parking lot in front of an oncoming SUV. The SUV struck his car and then pushed the car into oncoming traffic where it was hit by a pickup truck. The SUV driver was taken to MUSC and the driver of the pickup truck was unharmed.

Highway patrol officers say that the man who died was at fault in the accident.
