2 Die in Georgetown County Accident

The South Carolina Highway Patrol reports that two men died after their car crashed into a log truck in
Georgetown County. The accident occurred around 9:45 pm Friday night on Powell Road when a 2011 Chevy
Corvette hit a log truck that was backing into a private driveway. The two victims were identified as Willie
Duncan, 58, and Willie Deas, 57. They both died at the scene from blunt force trauma. The driver of the log
truck was not injured in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation by the SC Highway patrol.
