Motorcycle Rider injured when car changes lanes and hits him (All Available Insurance obtained)

My client, a motorcycle rider was driving his wife on Highway 17 during bike week in Myrtle Beach.  The defendant changed from the right lane to the left lane hitting my client with his left mirror.  Client received cuts and scrapes, as well as nerve damage in his right shoulder.  The at-fault driver's insurance company paid its policy limits of $50,000 prior to trial.  My client's insurance company, Allstate, offered only $2,000 on top of the liability policy.  Due to Allstate being unreasonable, we tried the case in Horry County and a jury awarded $220,000.
